GRAMMY Nominated violinist Jenny Oaks Baker and her accomplished children, musical group Family Four, present a new Americana Show that tells the story of America, highlighting the peoples, cultures and beliefs that have come together to create our beautiful and rich American Mosaic. With music by Emmy Award-winning composer Kurt Bestor, script by New York Times Bestselling Author Jason F. Wright, narration by popular actor Ben Lomu, percussion by Jay Nygaard, singing by American Harmony Youth Singers, as well as spirited dancing by world-class ballroom dancers Shanden and Sabrina Hoffman and BYU folk dancers, this show promises to inspire a greater appreciation for America, the diverse American people and the vibrant American Mosaic!

Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four
Violin, Piano, Cello and Guitar
America’s Violinist Jenny Oaks Baker is a Grammy-Nominated, Billboard No. 1 performer and recording artist. Jenny has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Library of Congress and as a guest soloist with The National Symphony, Jerusalem Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Utah Symphony and the Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square. Jenny has released 18 studio albums which have sold nearly a million copies and consistently chart on Billboard. In her efforts to share the light of Christ with more of God’s children, Jenny is now producing and touring inspirational shows across the world. Jenny, her husband Matthew, and their four children (Family Four) are from Salt Lake City, Utah. Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four have performed with orchestras throughout the United States including the Utah Symphony, the Millennial Choirs and Orchestras and the Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra at Temple Square. They have performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Family Four are also featured on many popular music videos and productions. Their debut album, Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four hit No. 4 on the Classical and Classical Crossover Billboard Charts. Their Christmas album, Joy to the World debuted at #7 on the Billboard Charts.
Laura is 24, plays the violin and percussion, recently graduated from Brigham Young University and is married to Caden Dickson.
Hannah is 22 and received her BM in Piano Performance from The Royal Academy of Music in London. She will complete her Masters in Piano from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2026.
Sarah is 20 and studies the cello at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is the 2025 winner of the Beatrice Huntington Award.
Matthew is18 and plays the classical and electric guitar.
Jenny and her children have been performing together as a family since each child started playing their instruments when they were three or four years old. Their father, Matt Baker is a business executive and is incredibly supportive of his wife and children.
Ben Lomu
Narrator
Ben Lomu is a religious educator, television host and actor. He is the host for the tv show, “Come Follow Up” on BYUtv, where he has filmed over 200 episodes. As an actor he portrayed King Lamoni in the Book of Mormon video series. He has also appeared in several movies and commercials both locally and nationally. Ben is a first generation American. His father was born in Tonga and his mother is from England. He has been a religious educator for the past 20 years and is currently teaching institute and Utah Valley University. Ben is an alumnus of the University of Utah where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminology. He also has a master’s degree in education. In 2024 he received the prestigious “Pioneer of Progress Award” in Arts and Entertainment. Ben enjoys working out, mountain biking and marital arts. His greatest joy and accomplishment in life comes from being a husband of 23 years to his best friend, Michelle, and being the father to 4 wonderful children.
Sabrina Sulik and Shanden Hoffman
Ballroom Dancers
Sabrina Sulik was originally trained in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she was raised. She is a lover of both performance and competition, competing in both individual competition and formation team events since 2009. In the summer of 2019 she was invited to tour China with a USA team and performed in cities across the country. Returning from China she started her college education at BYU, participating in their ballroom company. As a coach she has been training couples in all age categories. Her couples have received excellent results, co-teaching with her husband syllabus National champions, Junior Smooth Champions, and strong adult competitors. She is a 2x United States Amateur Pre-champ Latin finalist, United States Amateur Pre-champ Smooth Champion, and an Amateur Smooth finalist and semi-finalist at all major competitions in the U.S. She is also the 2X United States Amateur Rhythm Vice-champion with her husband, and the top ranked Amateur 9-Dance couple in the USA.
Shanden Hoffman originated in the city of Lindon, UT, a student at Brigham Young University, and comes from a family of 13 kids. He is the youngest, having 12 older adopted brothers and sisters. Shanden grew up playing the violin and piano, soccer, and teaching music lessons to pay for his ballroom dance. His ballroom roots are with the Utah elementary ballroom program back in fifth grade, when he was 10 years old. In Junior High, he continued to dance on the Alpine junior high competition team, and then with the Pleasant Grove high school ballroom team for a year and a half. In 11th grade he really focused and delved into the competition world for the rest of his high school years. He achieved great results, making many prestigious finals with his partner. He is an active competitor, a 3x United States Amateur Pre-champ Latin finalist, United States Amateur Pre-champ Smooth Champion, and an Amateur Smooth finalist and semi-finalist at all major competitions in the U.S. He is a 2X United States Amateur Rhythm Vice-champion with his wife, and the top ranked Amateur 9-Dance couple in the USA. Alongside competing and training full time, he currently teaches classes and private lessons at Peak Performance Dance Center, as well as instructing ballroom classes at Brigham Young University in Provo.
BYU Folks Dancers
With a beautiful array of ethnic costumes and props, International Folk Dance Ensemble presents a program of dances from more than a dozen nations, including Ukraine, Russia, Korea, Poland, Mexico, and the United States.
Since 1964, the ensemble has represented the United States and American culture at folk dance festivals throughout the world, including the festival held in conjunction with the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and the festivals in Haifa, Israel; Confolens, France; and Billingham, England. In addition, the group regularly presents its international repertoire throughout the United States and Canada. Regardless of focus–international or American– Folk Dance Ensemble is highly acclaimed by thousands for its skillful dancing, artistry, and energy.
Jay Nygaard
Percussionist
Jay is a passionate, driven artist and advocate for the arts from Southern Utah. He is Executive Director of Artistic Resource for Teachers and Students (A.R.T.S.) Inc. He is in his fourteenth season as a member of the Tuacahn Center for the Arts Orchestra, and he is an active performer innumerous other groups and projects. In his free time when he's not composing, doodling, or chasing his dog around the house with a ukulele, he loves to work on the yard, watch movies, play games, and help his wife Tabitha with her art business: Last Chance Brass
