America’s Violinist, Jenny Oaks Baker, is a Grammy nominated, Billboard No. 1 performer and recording artist. She received her Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and her Bachelor’s degree from The Curtis Institute of Music. Jenny has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Library of Congress, and as a guest soloist with the The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, and the Jerusalem, Pittsburgh, Utah, and National Symphonies. Jenny has released nineteen albums, including her latest, The Redeemer, which have sold over a million copies and consistently chart on Billboard. Music from her Grammy nominated album, Wish Upon a Star is featured at Disney World and Disneyland to introduce the nightly fireworks show. In her efforts to share the light of Christ with more of God’s children, Jenny is now producing and touring Christ-centered shows across the US. Jenny, her husband, Matthew, and their four children (musical group Family Four) are from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jenny began playing the violin at age four, and made her solo orchestral debut in 1983 when she was only eight years old. She received her Master of Music Degree from the renowned Juilliard School in New York City and her Bachelor’s Degree in violin performance from The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.

Jenny Oaks Baker has released nineteen albums as a Shadow Mountain Artist, having sold over a million copies since 1998. Her album "Wish Upon a Star: A Tribute to the Music of Walt Disney" earned a nomination at the 54th GRAMMY Awards for Best Pop Instrumental Album. Jenny’s albums consistently chart on Billboard, with her 2010 album "Then Sings My Soul" hitting the #1 spot on the Top Classical Albums chart two weeks in a row.  Her subsequent albums, “Noel: Carols of Christmas Past”, “Classic: The Rock Album”, “Awakening”, The “Spirit of God” and “EPIC” have all been arranged and produced by Emmy Award-winning composer Kurt Bestor and have landed in the Top 5 on the Classical & Classical Crossover Billboard Charts.  Her albums, "Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four" and "Joy to the World" were recorded with her four talented children, Musical group "Family Four" and hit No. 4 & No. 7 on the Classical Crossover Charts. Jenny’s newest album, “The Redeemer” is centered on the Savior Jesus Christ and His redemptive life and mission. This inspiring album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart.

Jenny Oaks Baker’s performaning career is equally impressive.  She has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Strathmore Hall, the Library of Congress and as a guest soloist with the National Symphony, Jerusalem Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Utah Symphony, and the internationally acclaimed Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square. She has also been featured in television and radio broadcasts nationwide.  Over the years Jenny has collaborated with such luminaries as Marie Osmond, Gladys Knight, Kurt Bestor, Marvin Hamlisch, and the former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.  

Jenny's emotionally stirring music has been featured on the soundtracks of many films, including Helen Whitney's PBS Documentary, "The Mormons", TC Christensen's hit films, "17 Miracles", "The Cokeville Miracle", & "Love Kennedy", and alongside music by "The Killers" in Mitch Davis' film, "Christmas Eve".  Additionally, Jenny starred as the violinist character, Mandy in "Christmas Eve", a film starring James Roday, Jon Heder and Patrick Stewart.  Jenny was also featured performing the Barber Violin Concerto in the award-winning documentary “Samuel Barber: Absolute Beauty”. And music from her Grammy Nominated Album, “Wish Upon a Star” is featured at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Disneyland to introduce their nightly fireworks shows.

The Jenny Oaks Baker YouTube Channel features Jenny's inspiring and entertaining music videos and enables more people throughout the world to experience the thrill of her music and performance.  These videos have been enjoyed by over 20 million viewers.

With her extensive performing and recording careers in addition to her superlative education, Jenny is an esteemed expert and has served as a judge for The Stradivarius International Violin Competition. She is also the recipient of the Utah Governor’s Mansion Artist Award for Excellence in Artistic Expression.

Recently Jenny began producing concerts and tours to enable more people throughout the world to experience her inspiring music. She has been the music director for concerts filmed in Italy, Spain and Germany which have been broadcast to millions of people throughout Europe. Her Christmas concert, “Joy to the World!” visited 10 US cities in 2022 and 20 cities in 2023. And Jenny’s newest show, “The Redeemer” was performed this spring in seven concert halls throughout the United State and culminated in a sold out performance at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.

For seven years, Jenny Oaks Baker performed as a first violinist in the National Symphony Orchestra before resigning in 2007 to devote more time to her  young family.  Jenny, her husband, and their four musical children are from SLC, UT.  Jenny and her children perform together throughout the world as Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four.
