The Violin Master Class is a wonderful opportunity to receive personal instruction from Grammy-nominated violinist Jenny Oaks Baker. We are looking for four violinists willing to perform a short excerpt from a solo piece (this can include a workshop song) and receive public instruction. All levels and ages are invited to apply (yes! This includes beginners and adult learners). In the class, selected performers will play a short excerpt of their choice and receive up to 15 minutes of personalized feedback from Jenny. Those interested should make sure they are comfortable playing in front of a group and receiving public feedback in a composed and receptive manner. Applicants must sign up for a Private Lesson to be considered. We encourage all to take advantage of this opportunity and apply. Jenny will select four violinists based off of a wide range of criteria after Private Lessons are complete.
Jenny’s Biography
Join Jenny as she conducts a Master Class focused on technique, musicality and more. In this class, participants will observe pre-selected performers as they each play a short excerpt of their choice and receive up to 15 minutes of personalized feedback from Jenny.
All attendees — performers and observers — (including parents of a workshop participant planning to attend) are required to purchase a seat.
